For sites that have a greater volume of waste and skips will not be sufficient. The most frequently used sizes are 20yd and 40yd, with the 20yd being the largest for hardcore / inert materials. 40yd containers are for light construction / mixed waste, wood and other recyclable materials and can also be supplied enclosed. 40yd roll on offs are usually chargeable by haulage and tonnage so are not suitable for heavy materials. More room is also required for the vehicle to load / unload the container.
